Minimum Wage
TİSK is the only organisation authorised to represent the employers’ perspective at the Minimum Wage Commission. It fulfils an active role in the determination of the minimum wage with careful consideration of the sustainability of our country’s development, economic data, and continuity of labour peace.
Individual and Collective Labour Law
TİSK follows up on all legal developments regarding employer-worker relations in coordination with the highest-ranking authorities. By means of a two-way communication with the member unions, it is able to reflect employers’ views and thus guide the policies of decision-making organs. It is the only organisation authorised to represent the employers’ perspective on the High Board of Arbitration.
Social Security
TİSK is the only organisation authorised to represent the employers’ perspective at Management Board of the Social Security Institute. It fulfils an active role in the provision of high-quality social security services that are not only reliable and sustainable but also innovative and congruous with the changing needs and dynamics of work life.
Occupational Health and Safety
Since the day it was founded, TİSK has been an organisation which has focused primarily on health and safety at work. TİSK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation operating exclusively in this field has been a trailblazer in that sense within the employer ecosystem. TİSK collaborates with the relevant public institutions and organisations about occupational health and safety while contributing to policies and their implementation. It steers employer unions and enterprises in the direction of compliance with the appropriate legislation, nourishes and fosters its ecosystem through projects developed in partnership with the Foundation.
Vocational Qualifications System
TİSK is the only organisation authorised to represent the employers’ perspective at Management Board of the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA) . It fulfils an active role in ensuring employment sustainability through the provision of high-quality, innovative, and competitive educational and vocational standards that are congruous with the changing needs and dynamics of work life. Besides fulfilling representative functions on a global scale at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and International Organisation of Employers (IOE), it aims to develop professional competency practices at home through its memberships to the Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN) and European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) serving in this field. Through joint ventures with the Ministry of Education, it contributes to the development of vocational education for the fostering of skilled personnel urgently needed by the business world. Furthermore, with representatives on the boards of Turkish Employment Agency Provincial Employment and Vocational Training Boards, TİSK participates in the making of employment and vocational training policies on the provincial level and helps to define measures that will protect and cultivate employment and prevent unemployment.
Incentive Practices
TİSK informs its ecosystem on all incentive practices offered in the context of work life, including employment, investment, SME etc. It fulfils an active role in making sure that incentive practices in our country are managed so that they can support the sustainability of employment and enterprises. It analyses the efficiency of practices, makes recommendations based on the analysis of needs within its ecosystem and contributes thus to policies in this field.
International Relations
TİSK represents employers in international organisations of paramount importance in the professional world such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and International Organisation of Employers (IOE). While strongly representing our country on these platforms, it also fulfils the function of conveying the knowledge and experience attained therein back to work life at home.
Future of Work
By introducing the Future of Work to the agenda, TİSK blazes a path in the sustainable pursuit of future trends which shall influence all work-related issues, leading projects that will prepare work life for the trends of the future.
